This fall-flying population, Apodemia mormo cythera, along the McGill Camp trail at Mt. Piños can also be considered cythera for now, but we'll have to wait to see how all these mormo-complex populations sort themselves out. Looks can be deceiving with this group, but based on phenotype this looks a bit different from its apparent congeners in the San Gabriels.
